Abstract
(English) | In many cases the aim of simulation is not restricted to the gathering of experimental information about the behaviour of a model of a given system. Rather it is performed in order to find an optimal structure for the system. A currently used technique for this purpose is that of making many different models, and comparing the data obtained from their simulation in order to choose an optimal one according to some given performance criteria. The aim of this paper is to present a general strategy which makes it possible to change automatically the system during the simulation in order to optimize a given set of criteria defined by the programmer.
