Abstract
(English) | Bodies are considered which under simple shear stress move with a strain rate proportional to a power of the shear stress. A study is made of the relationship of the bodies in question to more general continua, and of the properties which they exhibit under simple conditions. Results are presented regarding the pressure flow in a conical die; the behaviour during ram or screw extrusion is also discussed.
